I first took a position in the Crystal Etching department at Tiffany & Co. with the expectation that it would be a stepping stone to other design positions within the large and impressive company. Many requests to personalize merchandise are only a single letter, in Times Roman, centered on the piece (not a designer's dream). However I discovered opportunities to pitch some incredibly detailed illustrations and typographical layouts that surpassed expectations, inspiring new orders and ongoing relationships. Tiffany's is synonymous with high quality craftsmanship and I took that reputation seriously in my role, taking great care in my process and pride in my results.
